ACT 1, scene 1 Macbeth

A place where there is thunder and lighting are the three witches. The 3 witches talk about when to meet with Macbeth. They say after the battle is done, before the sunset. All the witches say ''Fair is foul and foul is fair'' this quote describes the whole book so it is really important to remember!

ACT 2, scene 1 Macbeth

Banquo and his son, Fleance are walking at macbeths castle, as Banquo cannot fall asleep because of the nightmares he is getting. And that is thinking about the 3 witches and the prophecies they made to Macbeth. In Banquo's mind he believes that Macbeth will kill Duncan so he can get to become King. Macbeth comes and talks to Banquo. Banquo talks to him about his nightmares, and asks him if he thinks of what they witches have told him about the prophecies. He denies that he believes the prophecies and tells Banquo that he wants some time alone with him and Banquo is fine with meeting up another time and talking.We see Macbeth inside his thoughts where he is looking at a dagger right in front of him. He follows and believes it is prophecy that has brought him so close. He sees the blade having blood and he thinks that that is a q to killing Duncan. And that is a moment that he believes is encouraging him to kill Duncan for the throne. He is just following along and believing that it is not him wanting to kill him, but it is what the prophesy is doing. He hears a bell and believes that it is calling him to killing duncan. Although its the bell, so the servant can come in the room and bring him a drink.
